Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kdemultimedia

I have a 5.1 channel sound system. Generally I am playing 2ch sound
sources, and prefer for the sound to come out of all the speakers.

If I have "Duplicate Front" switch set, the stereo channels are
duplicated to the other 2.1 channels. The problem arises when the Master
channel is muted (as with a keyboard button), the front channels are
muted, but the back channels are not. Master volume also only affects
the front, stereo channels.

** Affects: kdemultimedia (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
