Based on comments at http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=106950, .cue
files are already supported by Amarok.

Another upstream bug, http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=112477 for
pulling out the track information from the .cue file and putting those
tracks individually into the collection for searching, etc.  That bug is
now the only part left of seguso's original request.
