[Bug 109586] Touchpad configuration (ksynaptics) has no (permanent) effect

Binary package hint: ksynaptics

When changing the touchpad settings with ksynaptics, settings will not be stored. E.g. setting 'tapping' to 'one finger' this will have an effect for almost one tapping-action, then it gone again...
SHMConfig is enabled in xorg.conf.

May be related to #22419?
