Hi, 
as this bug seems to be the one where to gather resolution autodetection problems, here I go.

Feisty failed to detect well the native resolution (1400x1050) of my
laptop screen. That is strange because xresprobe gave the right one. I
have no idea what went wrong.

It's an asus laptop based on a centrino dothan platform with an X600
graphic card

just tested it : xrandr got it right.

If you need any debug info, just ask for it.
