I saw several emails regarding this theme. It seems I have subscribed to
this topic which is fine. I only saw some questions and am not sure if
they are addressed to me or not.

Anyway, there is no adapter for the monitor. It came out of the box and
plugged straight in. It uses a VGA plug, like this image:
