** Summary changed:

- Root midnight commander crashes on startup
+ "Root midnight commander" session crashes on startup

** Description changed:

- When trying to launch a root session of Midnight Commander, it crashes. I managed to fix the problem by opening an ordinary session (non root) and going to Tools>Configure Konsole and opening Session Tab. Under Session tab I selected Root Midnight Commander and found the following in the execute box.
+ Binary package hint: konsole
+
+ When trying to launch a root session of Midnight Commander in Konsole, it crashes. I managed to fix the problem by opening an ordinary session (non root) and going to Tools>Configure Konsole and opening Session Tab. Under Session tab I selected Root Midnight Commander and found the following in the execute box.
  su -c 'mc -c'
I changed this to sudo su -c 'mc -c' and the program now starts normally. Not even sure if this is a bug but shouldn't it be enabled by default? I found this with Ubuntu 6.06 and with Kubuntu 6.10.
  Cheers,
  Alastair
