same here, randomly skip track after 2 or 3 second played. It has been
the case in previous versions too. I'm using crossfading and fadout both
to some small amount ( 200 and 300 ) , using xine engine ans amarok
1.4.7 under kde 3.5.8 ( gutsy kubuntu ). Seems to disepear by removing
the corssfading option, not sre if fadeout has anything to do with it.
