Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: kcontrol
When i invoke kcontrol or Ubuntus "Systemsteuerung" and edit my samba-
shares using the expert-button in "Freigaben" (shares) I get this option
written into smb.conf:
msdfs proxy = no
sounds good but PREVENTS 100% that anybody from another machine will
_find_ my share. One could set up a proxy with the NAME "no" but I have
not tried that.
Deleting the line via editing smb.conf directly works as exptected (->
new share up and running).
This is also a bug in Debian etch/experimental 3.5.6
ProblemType: Bug
Date: Sat Feb 24 11:28:19 2007
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 7.04
Uname: Linux athlon 2.6.20-8-generic #2 SMP Tue Feb 13 05:18:42 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux
