[Bug 87545] [feisty]Some accent-related keys don't work after latest Feisty upgrade

I've upgraded my (Kubuntu) Feisty system yesterday and I noticed that
some accent charaters don't work correctly when pressed. Most notably
it's the characters that "append" an accent to a Latin characters, for
example "¨","´","ˇ" keys. Those characters won't "merge" with the Latin
letter pressed after them (as usual), they will be displayed immediately
which is not the desired output.
