Eterm is 0.9.3-1ubuntu1 and klipper is 4:3.5.5-0ubuntu3.  I don't think
I had this problem on 32bit kubuntu, but it persists on amd64.  Can't
imagine why the arch would matter, but this is the last of quite a few
mysteriously arch-dependent bugs I've had using Eterm with KDE.  I've
switched from Eterm to mrxvt though, so if no one else is complaining
about this it won't hurt my feelings if you close the bug.
