Hi i'm trying to use KBBDB from this article

so i can update automagically my contacts to kaddressbook from kmail

sadly it doesn't work at all, so i started to debugging it, and found
the problem here

dcop kaddressbook KAddressBookIface importVCard file://$tempfile

i've tried using this manually and it doesn't work trying with existing
vcards and nonexisting ones the behaviour is the same.  just nothing
happens and the kaddressbook is not updated, so the vcard is not
imported.

dpkg -l | grep kaddress
ii  kaddressbook                               3.5.4-0ubuntu1~dapper1                  KDE NG addressbook application
