Upgrading just now from Feisty with KDE 3.5.7 from kubuntu.org to gutsy
I got the same symptoms:

Preparing to replace kubuntu-default-settings 1:7.04-39 (using .../kubuntu-default-settings_1%3a7.10-13_all.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement kubuntu-default-settings ...
Unknown argument for /var/lib/dpkg/info/kubuntu-default-settings.postrm

Reopening.

       Status: Fix Released => Confirmed
