[Bug 129197] "open in a new window" on kickers trash applet doesnt work

I am using kubuntu gutsy, fully updated. This used to be a feisty
installation, i upgraded when tribe 1 was released.

when i click "open in a new window" , i get the message: Error -
KioExec: the location trash:/ is invalid.

manually navigating to the trash in konqueror or dolphin with trash:/
opens the trash..


not sure if this has something to do with it:
i did read that dolphin was choosen as the default file-manager. which wasnt applied through the updates to my system, so i right-clicked a folder and choose to always open folders with dolphin.
