Dear maintainers, you'll find the patch for the source code in attachment, done by Chuan-kai Lin.
It seems that this bug has not yet been reviewed, upstream at KDE...
And maybe it breaks other webcams support, I didn't test it.

Otherwise I built this .deb and it works well on my Feisty box (i386)
and a Logitech Webcam Zoom, so feel free to use it. I'll keep it online
for a certain time but don't expect security updates and so on :
