I can easily recreate the problem by opening Kopete, logging into Yahoo
Messenger, right-click on a Yahoo Contact and choosing View Yahoo
Profile (for the specified contact).

"sudo killall kdeinit && kdeinit" will usually restore peace and harmony
to the world.

Kubuntu Fiesty, fresh install with standard updates
KDE: 3.5.6
Firefox 2.0.0.4

I'm not sure what other information would be helpful.  If there is
anything I can do to help troubleshoot/resolve the problem or if there
is anymore information that you need then please let me know.
