Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: amarok

Ubuntu 7.04 german version, all updates installed.

When trying to play different media on comming to a mid-file, Ubuntu
displays msg that for this type no player is installed and offers to
install 2 different players. I decided to take the first one, Amarok.

Installations was without problems so far. Configured only to search for
music on desktop, nowhere else.

a) didn't find the mid-file an desktop
b) Menu "Engage > Play Media"and directly clicking the mid-file in question displays msg in the msg-line of Amarok, telling

"Some media could not be loaded (no play...." the line is to short to
display the whole msg.

Trying to open Help > Amarok Handbook errmsg is displayed:
"Could not Launch Help Center
Could not launch the KDE Help Center:
Could not find service 'khelpcenter' "

*) If Ubuntu offers to install a package that seems primarily to be
designed for Kubuntu (KDE-desktop) the package should be adopted
accordingly to Ubuntu

** Affects: amarok (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
