[Bug 89606] kopete does not recognize logitech usb webcam

Binary package hint: kopete

logitech webcam pro is detected with "webcam" program (image is seen on screen, although no audio)
However, Kopete does not produce an image when settings - configure - devices is invoked.
"Logitech notebook quickcam pro" is detected, green led comes on in camera but no image produced within kopete, no matter if other settings are moved arround. 

This is kubuntu feisty 03-03-2007 in an dell inspiron 6400. Some time
ago in an earlier version (I did not regiter which, sorry) it worked but
rather than saying in input "webcam" it said "usb".
