[Bug 55667] Re: Change in default route ineffective

I am using Kubuntu Edgy 6.10, and have the same problem.  KMenu ->
System Settings -> Network Settings -> Routes tab.  Set default gateway.
Click Apply.  "Reloading Network" appears in the task bar for a moment,
then goes away.

Start Konsole, type "route".  The default gateway is unchanged (or not
present if I haven't already set it manually).

I am fully updated.
