Interesting. I don't have a "Profession" field at all. I do have a
"Role" field, which I am assuming are the same thing (common sense don't
fail me now). I apologize as well for my previous post. I meant to say
that I have a "Role" field and not a "Profession" field, but I can
search it fine when the filter is set to "All Fields"

You do have the option as well of upgrading to KDE 3.5.6 in Edgy if you
are interested. To do so, you can follow the instructions located at
http://kubuntu.org/announcements/kde-356.php.
