Hi, thanks for bug report and sorry for the delay.

I've copied a ttf file to a usb key and reproduced your problem

here my fuser result :

gza at guillaume:~$ fuser -v /media/disk/*

                     USER        PID ACCESS COMMAND
/media/disk/webdings.ttf:
                     gza       20756 ....m kio_thumbnail

       Status: Unconfirmed => Confirmed
