In Feisty I expected that pressing the volume-up/down buttons on my laptop would show this kmix window with only a slider and alter the volume.
But kmix is not even started! (also when I start it, nothing happens)

xev shows the signal names just fine, so that is not the issue.

Same with volume down and mute.
