Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: mozilla-thunderbird
When adding a file with as an attachment drag'n'drop in Mozilla
Thunderbird the address of the file is wrong.
Steps to reproduce:
1: Open Mozilla Thunderbird.
2: File > New > Message.
3: File > Attach > File(s)
4: Open a folder en Konqueror.
5: Drag a file from Konqueror onto the Location bar in Thunderbird's Attach File dialog.
6: Observe that the correct address of the file is shown in the location bar. (e.g. file:///home/tdn/tmp/gdb-ktorrent.txt)
7: Click Open to attach the file.
8: Observe that the file appears in the Attachments field of the e-mail.
9 : Type a to-address and a subject.
10: Send the e-mail.
When you try to send the e-mail, Thunderbird gives you an error message.
I will attach a screen shot of this error message.
I am aware that this problem might be KDE related. However, Thunderbird is also affected because it does not check that the file from the Attach File dialog actually exists before allowing the user to attach it to the e-mail.
I would have made this bug affect both kdebase and mozilla-thunderbird,
but I can only select one package from the UI.
