[Bug 136970] Ethernet-interface does not do DHCP after upgrading from Kubuntu 7.10 Tribe 4 to Tribe 5

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: knetworkmanager

Ethernet works fine in Kubuntu 7.10 AMD64 Alternate Tribe 4. When
upgrading to Tribe 5 or doing a fresh install of Tribe 5, DHCP doesn't
happen. If I do a disable/enable in the network manager, everything
works fine. The adapter is a Broadcom 5787M.
