When the crash occurs only the wall paper and the mouse-pointer stay
visible. The mouse-pointer is even movable. But the desktop is completly
frozen, meaning CTRL ALT F1 or CTRL ALT BACKSPACE doesn't work.  But
nothing can be found in syslog or messages
