[Bug 144593] Problems with (8) emoticon

Binary package hint: kopete

The (8) emotion (a musical note) does not work unless it is followed by
a space. This problem was experienced on the MSN protocol, others may be
effected.

For example, the the text "(8)text" does not produce a musical note,
whereas "(8) text" does.

This behavior is inconsistent with other IM clients, and can cause
confusion.
