Tried to make a new user and starting fram scratch, so no personal
amarok settings was present. This didn't change anything, problem still
present.

As not everybody else can reproduce it, it might be a problem with certain devices.
I'm using a Denver MP-1021

I don't have an extra mp3 player to test on; if I get the chance I will
test with others too.
