I'm seeing a similar problem with what I believe to be a fully patched
Hardy AMD64 install. I've tried the usual things - deleting ~/.xine,
purging/reinstalling amarok/amarok-xine/libxine1-ffmpeg etc.

amarok 2:1.4.8-0ubuntu5
amarok-xine 2:1.4.8-0ubuntu5
libxine1-ffmpeg 1.1.11.1-1ubuntu1
libxine1 1.1.11.1-1ubuntu1
libxine1-bin 1.1.11.1-1ubuntu1
libxine1-console 1.1.11.1-1ubuntu1
libxine1-misc-plugins 1.1.11.1-1ubuntu1
libxine1-x 1.1.11.1-1ubuntu1

The files in question claim to be:

"ISO Media, MPEG v4 system, iTunes AAC-LC"

totem-gstreamer plays the files fine, totem-xine fails with "There is no
plugin no handle this movie".
