qt_plugins_3.3rc is necessary for hp-toolbox (hplip-gui package), if a normal user tries to run hp-toolbox they get this:
$ hp-toolbox

HP Device Manager ver. 11.0

BUT if you run it with "gksu hp-toolbox", everything's fine!

I think that this bug is the problem for hplip's bug 181242
