[Bug 220473] [NEW] machine lockup when scrolling kde panel taskbar

Public bug reported:

My machine is an acer aspire 9810 with 2GB memory. It locks solid when
using the mouse scroll wheel over the taskbar when running kde with 2 or
more windows open.

To repeat:

open at least to programs under kde.
move mouse to hover over one of the taskbar buttons for the running programs.
roll scroll wheel quickly.
windows will alternate coming forward on screen, then suddenly machine will freeze solid within a few seconds. have to power cycle to fix.
