Hey Alexander,

I enabled your ppa and upgraded. The "not connecting" problem still persists. I can see the connection but it won't connect. When I start knetworkmanager from the terminal and click on my wireless connection he just says "activate ...." with a long path containing freedesktop.org stuff. Sorry, I am on an another computer and can not verify.
Still connecting with nm-applet. Interestingly as soon as nm-applet is connected, knetworkmanager does so too!? It seems as if nm-applet helps knetworkmanager to overcome an obstacle?
