sorry Jonathan but this can not be it ; "sudo" is a command that exist and that can be run as many people are proposing in literature or internet for example :
$ sudo apt-get....

It cannot be avoided by simple wish as not recommanded because of KDE context or other ; if "sudo" itself creates problems that kdesudo does not there is still something to be done as before "sudo" command was not troublesome.
