Well, the package name, that changed, has been "kpdf", not "kubuntu-
desktop" indeed. Therefore, the transitional package should be named
appropriately.

I personally don't need kubuntu, however there are two apps that don't
have an appropriate equivalent. K3B and KPDF. None of them depends on
"kubuntu-desktop" and can be installed separately. Can You imagine that?

Now, I assume You are familiar with observation of Interpid being the
worst Ubuntu version since Edgy, so You can imagine easily, that this
issue made the whole thing quite annoying in summary for me.
