just to add more information. If the email is from my inbox, when I
right click, there is an option "Open in Address Book", and I can safely
open it and then edit the rest of the information.  The application
hangs only when I did that from my local folder. I create a local folder
"Archive", and when I right click I don't have the option "Open in
Address book", but "Add to Address book".  When I click that, I can't
click the rest anymore.

So maybe to reduplicate the bug, you need to create a local folder, copy
an email to there, and right click the email address. Let me know
whether this happen to you.
