could you attach a minimal tex file which triggers the crash?

The lines
#10 0xb5ac8284 in KateDocument::saveFile () from /usr/lib/kde3/libkatepart.so
#11 0xb77aeab8 in KParts::ReadWritePart::save () from /usr/lib/libkparts.so.2
look for me suspicous.
Kile 2.0.x does only depend on the KDE3 libraries. Can it be the case that some KDE4 lib is here involved?
On my debian etch with KDE3 only I get:
thomas at thomas:/tmp$locate libkpart
/usr/lib/libkparts.so.2
/usr/lib/libkparts.so
/usr/lib/libkparts.so.2.1.0
/usr/lib/libkparts.la
