actually, the dependency problem is this:

Some dependencies of libkipi0 are not satisfied:                  
  * libkipi0 depends on libkipi6 

AND

Some dependencies of libkipi6 are not satisfied:
  * libkipi6 conflicts with libkipi0 [universe]  

aptitude and apt-get won't let me install digikam, because it can't
resolve the dependencies, and I can't compile digikam either (compiling
with libkdcraw2-3 gives errors,  libkdcraw2-7 compiles, but I can't view
files...
