Public bug reported:

I was able to write a wrong hexadecimal wep password configuring a new
wlan connection. My password had some non-hexadecimal character but it
didn't tell me it was wrong. Actually i wanted to put an ASCII password,
but i didn't see the how the "type" field was set. Another strange thing
was that to correct my mistake i had to remove the connection and
configure a new one: all change to the "type" field editing the old
connection was in fact completely ignored.

This happened trying the Kubuntu 8.10 live. (so knetworkmanager version
was 1:0.7svn864988-0ubuntu1)

Oh.. the password is not hidden, can't it be a security problem?

** Affects: knetworkmanager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
