[Bug 311370] [NEW] shows error while updating

image-2.6.27-7-generic_2.6.27-7.16_i386.deb: unable to make backup link
of `./boot/vmlinuz-2.6.27-7-generic' before installing new version

This is the error i get when trying to update. I am a newbee to linux and just have installed linux yesterday and i tried to run an update and it said the thing, please help.
