[Bug 187549] [NEW] KNetworkManager with network-manager-vpnc - no configuration in gutsy

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

pretty fresh install of gutsy, fully updated with all repos.

I installed network-manager-vpnc so I can connect to the vpn at my office.
After installation, KNetworkManager has a new menu item, VPN Connections (yay!)
unfortunately, the only submenu item available is "Disconnect VPN", and it is grayed out.

I looked at some similar bugs, but none seemed to apply to this exact
situation.  Something that seemed to come up often was all sorts of
'nm-' commands.  The only one I have is nm-tool, which only reports
status information.

A quick response is appreciated!
