Because there are serious security holes in the previous one and Adobe
broke the fixed one in Konqueror (see the links I posted). If you wan to
use the previous one anyway, you can get an archive with the old
versions here http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_14266 Its 9r48 you're looking
for, but remember that it has those security issues and some (not sure
if any from that version though) are already exploited.
