Same issue as Marius in upgrading a laptop for a friend. I don't recall
having anything remotely like this problem with I upgraded to Gusty
during beta release. When I try to run "/etc/init.d/networking restart"
I get:

"Ignoring unknown interface eth0=eth0..."
