[Bug 193497] [NEW] It doesn't connect to any available wifi network automatically at boot

Public bug reported:

After KDE is loaded, the knetworkmanager icon on systray shows it's not connected to any network. Every time I reboot, I had to right-click on the icon and select my preferred network in order to connect. I think this should happen automatically.
The only workaround I've found is using wifi-radar (kwifimanager didn't connect either).
My /etc/network/interfaces is clean, only showing references to the loopback connection.

** Affects: knetworkmanager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
