First off, do you still experience this? If so, what happens if you mute
the music in Kubuntu and then switch the session to Ubuntu, do you get
the same behavior? I don't believe this is a Kubuntu issues just as much
as I don't think this is an Ubuntu issue, but more or less an alsa/sound
issue. Thanks.
