[Bug 198107] [NEW] Kaffeine multi-tasking failure

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Ubuntu 7.10 permits satisfactory operation on one desktop with sound usefully continuing when changing desktop,  with Media Player and/or Exaile operation also possible,  but Hardy Alpha-5 shuts down Kaffeine when other audio-visual packages are activated or another desktop is selected.
ie Gutsy Gibbon is a more stable multi-tasking environment than Hardy Heron Alpha-5,  which I must assume is due to the different kernel being used ?
