[Bug 205398] [NEW] Kubuntu Live CD Beta v8.04 - LAN only available if started noapic on eeePC 701

Kubuntu Hardy Heron Beta Live CD

EXPECTED: LAN driver should be automatically available on LiveCD.
BUG: When running live CD (no installation) the onboard LAN is not recognised (lo & eth0 only devices. eth0 shows no connection. LAN manager in "system settings" reportsa problem of nonloaded module).
If start is performed with <f6> then "noapic" the LAN is running.  
(add: WIFI connection disabled)
