Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: knetworkmanager
Hi,
My home network is setup with DHCP and static lease for my computer.
I've set 192.168.0.20 for my only Ethernet card and when I boot or reboot I always get the same ip (192.168.0.20).
When I put my computer into sleep and wake it up after a while, the
network no longer works. From what I think it's because the device eth0
get renamed to something else every time my computer sleeps. This makes
nm-applet all confused. Maybe it's a bug in the nvidia driver
(forcedeth.c) that makes the device change MAC address and base address
(as report in the following).
