[Bug 199978] [NEW] Kubuntu kicker crashes

Trying to use sudo apt-get install --reinstall kicker did not solve the
problem with disappeared kicker panel.

After using Adept Manager to remove and install kicker on new and
restarting the system kicker crashed again before it came up. System
seems not to be cleaned up by removal of the kicker package, so the
garbish from the defect kicker followed the new installation. No kicker
panel yet. Where to reset the data for kicker to get the kicker panel up
and working?
