[Bug 186384] Re: Amarok does not autodetect devices in Hardy, and in Gutsy with KDE3.5.9 and KDE4 ppa repository

I'm not using Hardy so I can't install the precompiled package amarok
(2:1.4.8-0ubuntu5). I've tried compiling from the sources of that
package but the problem persists. Is there anything I can do? I'm using
Gutsy and KDE3.5.9 with ppa repositories.
