Binary package hint: quanta
I use quanta+ under gnome. Japanese characters are input with scim using either canna or anthy.
To use Japanese in kde applications using gnome I had to add this lines in a xsession
export XMODIFIERS=@im=uim-anthy
export QT_IM_MODULE=uim-anthy
After a Japanese text is entered, using the undo and redo functions the
text scrambles(the undo instead of restoring the text add different
parts of the text in random places). The error appear even in a
different page from the edited one.
** Affects: kdewebdev (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: Won't Fix
