I seem to have the same problem on Kubuntu 8.04 with KDE4

Just installed it with Wubi and i can't change anything because apply
stays greyed out. And also it does not correctly recognize my Monitor
resolution. It should be 1280x1024 but it gives me only 1280x800 and
1280x768 and lower.

I hope there is some kind of solution for this.
