[Bug 230911] [NEW] KDE4 locks up on startup

Public bug reported:

If the /home/user/.kde4/share/ folder is not removed before X starts the
title bar with the minimize & close buttons are missing, windows can't
be resized & keyboard input in dialog boxes fails I.E. sudo box for
adept etc. Shutdown locks up halfway down & forced shutdown with power
button is necessary.

OS Kubuntu 8.04 & 8.10 DE is KDE4 (no problems in KDE3)

Video driver is Nvidia Quadro 140 laptop (Lenovo/IBM T61)
